Performing Sweet Child O’ Mine for the New Zealand Rugby Foundation Gala Dinner 2026 was a very special moment. Before the performance, I dedicated the piece to the many brave people whose strength and resilience were being honoured that evening. I then moved through the guests as a roaming electric violinist, bringing the most powerful solo moments up close to the audience and creating a live performance filled with emotion, energy and connection.
